Event Description
In "Make Way for Music", families will sing, dance, and move their way through an exploration of several elements of music: beat & rhythm, concepts & contrasts (such as staccato & legato, high & low, the major scale, and arpeggios), the human voice, instrument families, and ensemble. They'll engage in developmentally appropriate activities that the whole family can enjoy together, including fingerplays, songs, circle dances, story time, and family jam.
10-week class meets weekly from 4:45 - 5:30 PM OR 6:45 - 7:30 PM, March 2 - May 4, 2010.
Home materials include two books, two home CDs, family guide, Rex the lion hand puppet & finger puppet, an instrument matching board game, and two fingerdrums.

11: Waldameer Summer Theater tryouts, Mercyhurst College.
12: Second Sunday, Erie Art Museum, free admission.
