- I'm a fairly new mom. My daughter Caiden just turned 1 on Aug. 30. She came into our life after several years of trying and praying. My husband Mike and I have been married nine years and can trace our relationship back to my junior year of high school when we worked at a grocery store. Today, I work in corporate communications at Erie Insurance and he's in advertising. I'm a book worm who will read most anything except romance novels. I love to travel (especially warm locales with a beach) and to cook, although these days it's all about what's quick and easy.

9-12: RV, Camping, Powersports Spectacular, Erie Bayfront Convention Center.
10: "The Color Purple," Erie Playhouse.
11: Waldameer Summer Theater tryouts, Mercyhurst College.
12: Second Sunday, Erie Art Museum, free admission.
