I took my kids down to the Dock to feed the birds today and one of the fishermen came over and said I'd better be careful because they posted no feeding the birds signs and have been handing out $25 fines for anyone caught.This is really annoying to me that we can't even come downtown and feed the ducks? More rights being taken away every day. Especially our rights to enjoy our lake. If you missed the April 15th tea party I heard more are brewing for July 4th - come out and see that you're not the only one frustrated with being taxed to death and that you're not happy with the $$ thrown at these businesses to help them survive yet they continue to give million dollar bonuses to their execs?!! This goes beyond party lines!

Kid Fundraisers
I don't remember having to sell so much junk when I was in school. I think I sold girl scout cookies and our annual magazine sale. Maybe something for band but I don't recall. Why are kids these days always pawning some garbage? The first WEEK of school Tracy kids come home with a flyer full of junk. Seriously more wrapping paper? A timer, generic chocolate? Some things you have to see to believe
OK....If I hadn't been there myself today I would never have believed it! I had to pick my son up at the Ambassador today at 3:30. We live by 38th & Peach area so I left my house at 3:15 normally this would give my plenty of time even if there was a little Saturday traffic. He had to go babysit for a friend at 4:00 so I grabbed a coupon for chik-fil-a to get him some dinner and I was off. Just a few blocks up Peach Street (just passed Gore) the traffic was stopped.
